Established as the venture organisation, Caselex s.a.r.l. has set out to bring the service Caselex to legal practitioners across Europe and beyond. He has a long track record in digital publishing. From a key position within the legal information market in Norway in the early 90ies, he moved on to the European Commission, Directorate General Information Society, to lead its first web service, I*M Europe, in 1994. Since then he has contributed to a range of private Internet ventures next to providing strategic advice to the European Commission. In 2003 he co-founded Caselex together with Marc de Vries. |

He combines a robust practical experience in the area of law (for years he has been a litigation lawyer at de Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, a leading law firm in the Netherlands) with extensive knowledge in the field of European ICT law (for 4 years he has served as an external advisor to the European Commission (Directorate General Information Society). He has led a large number of European funded projects and studies. |
