Advisory Board

To support the CASELEX alliance with strategic advice, an Advisory Board has been established, bringing together senior personalities from highly esteemed legal organisations throughout Europe.

The members are:

Mr Arve Føyen

Mr Føyen is representing the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), in which he holds the position as President of the CCBE IT Law Committee. Mr Føyen is partner in the Norwegian law firm Føyen Advokatfirma DA.

Mr Paul C. de Jonge

Mr de Jonge is Secretary General of European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA). He is also Managing Director of Legal BenchMarket International BV Legal BenchMarket International BV.

Mrs Maja Tratnik

Mrs. Tratnik is President of the International Association of Judges and judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia since 2005.

Mr Emmanuel Barthe

Mr Barthe is law librarian researcher at Proskauer Rose LLP. He also shares his rich knowledge with the French legal research community through the blog Precisement.org

Mr Michael Gallagher

Mr. Gallager was among the pioneers triggering the online legal publishing market in Estonia. Today he provides advice to the legal sector and runs pan-European eLearning for judges .

Mr Bengt Gustafson

Mr Gustafson is Senior vice President Chief Legal Counsel of the Securitas Group. Mr Gustafson was President of the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) during the period 2004-2007, next to being the Chief Legal Officer at Metso Minerals Holding AB.

Dr Adam Lazowski

Dr. Adam Lazowski is a senior lecturer at the School of Law, University of Westminster.

Professor Giovanni Sartor

Professor Sartor is Marie-Curie professor of Legal informatics and Legal Theory at the European University Institute of Florence. He is co-editor of the Artificial Intelligence and Law Journal and has published widely in legal philosophy, computational logic, legislation technique, and computer law.
